Poster Contest Done: Thanks you to everyone who submitted posters. We did not select a first through forth place because each of the four winners received
the same number of votes.
The poster contest sponsored by the Hugo Improvement Partnership is over and
we have four winners. We had 25 total entries and each one was unique, creative
and just plain fun. We selected four winners by secret ballot from each of our
eight judges. The results were close because each entry was worthy. The winners are described as follows:
Pastor Ben Wentworth’s entry was two cows grazing near a windmill with
a beautiful sunset behind them. The caption reads HUGO, Life is better served Family-Style. Dee Ann Blevins’
entry is a large colorful paintbrush with paint on the tip (painting the word HUGO) and the caption reads Highlight of the
Prairie. The third winner was Bob Kraxberger.
His entry is HUGO in large letters and below that is “Out Where The Best Begins”. The forth and final winner was also an entry by Pastor Ben Wentworth.
It is a simple but elegant word “HUGO” with a stalk of wheat rising out of the H.
Each winner will receive a $50.00 check from the Hugo Improvement Partnership
and most of all a very big thanks to each winner and every one of the 25 people who took their time to create a design and
submit it to us. Thanks very, very much.
